Arsenal outscored Manchester United to fifth place in the Premier League with a 1-0 win over six top rivals Wolves.
The first half from Gabriel was enough to score three points for Arsenal, who had to withstand the pressure behind Gabriel Martinelli's red card.
Contrary to Molineux's dynamic nature, it was a quiet start to a decision that no party could fashion in the first place.
But it was the Gunners who took the lead when Gabriel kicked home a bad ball after Ben White won the second ball in the corner.

Martinelli then gave the Wolves a way back to the game when he was sent off in different situations.
After pushing Daniel Podence while trying to throw quickly, in the same way, he fouled Chiquinho, referee Michael Oliver ruled on both sides.
After being hit by a free-kick, the Wolves got a well-placed goal from offside, before Alexandre Lacazette missed a good chance to double the points.
At the time it was a case of going back to the Arsenal wall, having had to endure a wave after the Wolves' attack, but survived as they trailed the Red Devils by a goal difference and one point behind West Ham, playing two short games.
Here are some great talking points from the Black Country:
Gabriel scored Arsenal's first goal since New Year's Day during the first half at Wolves
It only took 40 days, four and a half games and two cups, but Arsenal finally managed to score again.
They say good things come to those who wait and while Gabriel's tap-in won't win any of the goals of the month's tournament, in the far end, it was certainly a greeting one.
Somehow, it was a non-Arsenal type of goal, with White climbing up to re-use the ball, Alexandre Lacazette putting his body in line to get Josa Sa out of the game, allowing Gabriel to score easy goals.
